Welcome to
The Pier Bar & Grill
in Bismarck!
Tiffany and Neil fell in love with the bar’s neighborhood, atmosphere and location back in 2015 when they moved to Bismarck. They became the owners back in October of 2016.
As the only Bar & Grill in Bismarck located right on the Southport Bay Marina, this gem has a summer patio with docks and a fuel station for your boat while you enjoy food and drinks. The Fuel station is open 11 am – 9 pm daily in season. According to most people, it boasts the best Martinis in town Pier-iod! Whether you’re looking for dinner for two, a place to meet friends after work, or if you need party reservations in their spacious upstairs, they have what you need.
Did you know the Lewis and Clark Expedition passed through the area in 1804–05? A few years later in 1872 Camp Greeley (later Camp Hancock; now a state historic site), a military post, was established there to protect crews working on the Northern Pacific Railway.
Fast forward to 1889, Bismarck became the capital of the northern state. It has grown steadily and has become the region’s business, trade, transportation, education, and health care center. Oil, gas, and coal production and distribution are major factors in the city’s economy, as is the refinery located in nearby Mandan. Government, business services, insurance, dairy processing, and the manufacturing of farm and construction equipment are also important to the area. Bismarck’s agricultural development includes raising livestock and the production of wheat, hay, and oats.
Although Bismarck is famous for many things, The Pier Bar and Grill is famous for its amazing marina views and delectable dishes! In the fall it features Dinner specials on Friday and Saturday nights. Stop in and see for yourself what all the fuss is about!
